The Dragon Within

The Dragon Within All his life, William has been told he is weak. Born the bastard son of a powerful duke, he has lived in the shadow of a family that would rather forget he exists. Worse, a mysterious dragon egg absorbed into his body as a child has crippled his magical potential, leaving him the target of ridicule and bullying. Then his adventuring party decides William is more trouble than he is worth. Abandoned deep within a dangerous dungeon and left for the monsters to find, William should have died alone. Instead, a desperate fall brings him to a powerful ley line—and awakens the secret that has been sleeping inside him since childhood. The dragon egg hatches. With a tiny dragon at his side and his long-lost magic finally awakening, William discovers that he may not be the powerless nobody everyone believed him to be. But the question remains: Just how powerful can a boy become when he finally unlocks the dragon within?
